All the properties available to rent have been purchased through the Bournville Lane Club, mainly through proceeds of the old bar at Bournville Lane Police Station. We are not associated to the Force Sports and Social Club.

The properties are available to serving and retired members of staff. Please do not book them for other people.

The properties are run on a “not for profit” basis, and we offer very affordable rates so you benefit from the club.

The properties are run by volunteers, and in order for costs to remain low we do not employ caretakers or cleaners, and there is a responsibility on anybody renting the property to leave it clean and tidy when you leave, exactly how you would expect to find it if you rented it commercially. Failure to do this will prevent you from renting the properties again, and will potentially spoil a holiday for a colleague.

Please report any damage to the properties or their contents promptly so we can get it fixed for the next guests.

Open plan living space with kitchen, dinning area and living room.

All rooms in the flat have new electric heaters which are thermostatically controlled to get the perfect temperature.

The view from the dinning area window is across Woolacombe and out to Marine Drive. All windows are double glazed.

Below the flat is a single car port and garage for your use.

(Please note there are a number of flights of stairs up to the flat with no lift facility).

A fully equipped kitchen for all your culinary needs.

Appliances – Fridge Freezer, Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Microwave, Kettle, Toaster, Coffee Machine, Toasted Sandwich Maker, Dishwasher and Washing Machine (A Tumble Dryer is also available in the Garage).

Contents – pots, pans, chopping boards, plates, bowls, cups, glasses, cutlery and most commonly used kitchen utensils.

The living space has 2 large sofas, 32 inch flat screen TV with Netflix, Now TV, Disney, Sky Movies, Sky Sports, BT TV (Including Sports package) and Amazon Prime. A DVD and PS4 are also available.

WIFI is available in the flat.

The dinning table can seat 6 people comfortably – perfect for a family meal.

The double room has a fitted wardrobe, bedside tables, lamps and a mirror. A hairdryer is available.

The twin room has 2 full sized single beds, fitted wardrobe, drawers and bedside table with a lamps and mirror. There is a TV with Now TV available on it (Sports, Kids Pack and Movies)

Bedding is provided (Pillows and Duvets but you need to bring your own linen/sheets/covers)

A king-size inflatable bed is also available for use in the lounge for an occasional guest

Both bedrooms look out of the rear of the property, and a view of the sea.

The family bathroom consists of a shower over the bath, sink, WC and large mirror. Water is heated at night, with the option of an immersion heater if more is required.

The garage is used as a boardroom, available for your use are Stand-up Paddle Boards, Soft Top Surf Boards, Body Boards, Skim Boards and Belly Boards. There are childrens wetsuits of various sizes, and some adult ones as well if you fancy a go! Also available is a large trolley to get your boards to the beach, as well as beach chairs, picnic table, wind breaks and a Weber Go Anywhere Charcoal BBQ.
