Volunteers.

All the properties available to rent have been purchased through the Bournville Lane Club, mainly through proceeds of the old bar at Bournville Lane Police Station or the old bar at Chelmsley Wood Police Station (the old Solihull Social Club).

The properties are available to serving and retired members of staff only.

The properties are run on a “not for profit” basis, and we offer very affordable rates so you benefit from the club.

The properties are run by volunteers, and in order for costs to remain low we do not employ caretakers or cleaners, and there is a responsibility on anybody renting the property to leave it clean and tidy when you leave, exactly how you would expect to find it if you rented it commercially. Failure to do this will prevent you from renting the properties again, and will potentially spoil a holiday for a colleague.
