About Bournville Lane Club - Please read before booking.

All the properties available to rent have been purchased through the Bournville Lane Club, mainly through proceeds of the old bar at Bournville Lane Police Station.

The properties are available to serving and retired members of staff. Please do not book them for other people.

The properties are run on a “not for profit” basis, and we offer very affordable rates so you benefit from the club.

The properties are run by volunteers, and in order for costs to remain low we do not employ caretakers or cleaners, and there is a responsibility on anybody renting the property to leave it clean and tidy when you leave, exactly how you would expect to find it if you rented it commercially. Failure to do this will prevent you from renting the properties again, and will potentially spoil a holiday for a colleague.

Please report any damage to the properties or their contents promptly so we can get it fixed for the next guests.

    Open plan living space with kitchen, dinning area and living room.

    The caravan is double glazed and benefits from central heating with radiators in every room including the hallway.

    Outside the front door is a locked store containing various equipment for people to use, including a beach tent, windbreak and games for the beach.

  • Cook.

    A fully equipped kitchen for all your culinary needs.

    Appliances - Fridge / freezer, gas oven with grill, gas hobs, microwave, kettle, toaster, steamer.

    Contents - pots, pans, chopping boards, plates, bowls, cups, glasses (various sizes and wine glasses), cutlery and most commonly used kitchen utensils.

  • Relax

    The living room boasts stand alone settees for that proper feeling of home.

    A 40” UHD smart tv and PS4 along with numerous games and DVDs to keen you entertained. If that isn’t enough there are other games in the cupboards along with books, jigsaws and cards.

    In addition to the central table there is a nest of tables that ensure everyone has somewhere to put their drink.

  • Chill.

    There are two twin rooms. All bedrooms come with quilts and pillows (you need to bring the sheets and covers).

    Both twin rooms have separate downlights for bedtime reading, wardrobes and over bed cupboards.

    Each also comes with its own mirror.

  • Sleep.

    The master bedroom has a double bed, again with quilt and pillows provided.

    There are build in wardrobes with additional draws. At the bottom of the bed is a shelf with mirror above that makes a perfect dressing area.

  • Refresh.

    There are two toilets in the caravan, each with its own sink and mirror.

    In addition one of these contains a decent sized shower, powered with hot water from the combi-boiler.

  • Blue flag sandy beach.

    Accessed directly from the Devon Cliffs site and just 5 mins walk from the caravan is this award winning blue flag beach.

  • Activities

    There are loads of exciting activities to get involved with on the park (most at an additional cost), including:

    Archery, shooting, swimming, aerial adventure, climbing wall.

  • Go crazy.

    There is a crazy gold course for those who fancy it, and for those who don’t plenty of bars / restaurants with great views.

  • Reach for the skies.

    Overcoming your fears with this high climbing wall.

    All activities are within a 5 min walking time of the caravan.

Beyond the park.

  • Exeter.

    A small city that packs a big punch, Exeter is one of the most vibrant, attractive and historically interesting cities in England.

    Pre-dating the arrival of the Romans in AD 50, Exeter’s history is rich and long. This is reflected in its fascinating visitor attractions including its unique Underground Passages, free Red Coat Guided Tours, magnificent Cathedral, imposing Roman wall and beautiful Quayside. Exeter is also home to the award-winning Royal Albert Memorial Museum where visitors can explore the city’s 2,000-year history under one roof!

    Exeter has a real sense of individuality, its varied cultural scene is embraced by proud locals, and the diverse mix of eateries means it is renowned as one of the foodie capitals of the South West. Head to the West Quarter or the cobbled Gandy Street to discover great mix of independent shops and boutiques, cafes and bars.

Availability and pricing.

The caravan is available to book in whole weeks, Saturday to Saturday. The calendar below will allow you to check availability and book weeks online. All bookings are provisional until confirmed and deposit paid.
